Listening Together survey reports

The first part of our project asked young people with disability and young carers across Australia how they define good listening, and whether they feel listened to by the organisations and services in their lives. The findings are available in three versions.

Designing inclusive publics: systemic listening in disability support

Disability policy increasingly promises to include people with disability in decisions that affect them, but people still report not being heard. This article uses the National Disability Insurance Scheme as a case study to look at how governance structures, market pressures and organisational cultures get in the way of listening, and what would need to change for listening to become part of how services actually work.
